Daniel released the A-side of his new record ‘Gesprekken met mezelf’ and we celebrated it with an intimate show at studio 150 in Amsterdam. I got to co-write tracks 3, 4 & 5 and played guitar on all tracks. The recording sessions for this album were really special. Daniel and I would play together live in the room at Soundwise Studios with Jens Munnik running the session. So every song would start with Daniel on keys and me on acoustic playing off of each other. No room for mistakes but something really special happened that can't be re-created by multi tracking after each other. And the inspiring studio space that Jens Munnik has did add to the magic. The B-side that features the more acoustic cuts will be released on the 11th of october.
