Very happy and proud that I got to be a small part of this important documentary series. What’s Right, will air weekly on dutch national television. This series explores how the dismantling of our welfare state is linked to the rise of fascism in our politics.
There’s plenty to say about the final product and the journey that led us here. Still, more than ever, I’m aware that the opportunity to create something critical of government policy is far from a given. Especially now, with journalists and democracies under pressure worldwide, we must never take that freedom for granted.
I wrote the leader music and other bits for this series. Jonas Pap played cello and Benjamin Rheinländer mixed it all.
